Ronnie McQuillan is a Northern Irish born, London based DoP and a recent graduate of the Cinematography MA at the National Film and Television School.
His work ranges from fiction films and music videos to advertising and documentary. He has previously worked for commercial clients such as Google, Channel 4, Johnnie Walker Whiskey, the Northern Irish Tourist Board, Universal Music and an Iguana Yachts commercial directed by David Gandy.
In 2018 alone, his work has been screened at Sheffield Doc Fest (Fake News Fairytale, documentary), Venice Film Festival (Judith, fiction) and picked up the Jury Prize at both the Student BAFTA’s (Inanimate, animation) and Annecy (Europe’s leading animation festival) as well as 3rd prize in the Cinéfondation category at Cannes - a competition with over 2,400 submissions from around the world.
